19th November 2012, Singapore – tvN will be undergoing a rebrand to become channel M on 23rd November 2012 at 6:00PM. channel M is currently available on SingTel mio TV Ch. 518 (HD) and StarHub TV Ch. 824/874 (HD).
tvN is proud to announce that channel M (read as channel “M”) will be the new face of K-culture and will continue to rock on as the best Korean entertainment channel which has taken Asia by storm with Korean content supported by CJ E&M, Korea’s most prestigious media conglomerate.
Launched in 2009, tvN has served as the Korean entertainment channel which brought various television genres to audiences in South East Asia. After rebranding into channel M, audiences can expect and enjoy more diverse choices of programmes such as dramas, lifestyle shows, concerts and movies. With the newly added-on support from Mnet, global No.1 K-pop network across the world, channel M will have more synergy with other M brands, gearing up with more stronger K-pop driven contents and staying on course to execute its new mission – to become the first choice K-pop brand and playground for young Asians with more fun and captivating content.
To get the first glimpse of newly launched channel M, audiences will get to experience two highly anticipated projects during this year-end with Mnet Asian Music Awards 2012 in Hong Kong (LIVE) and K-Pop Star Hunt S2. Stay tuned to K-Pop Star Hunt S2 which premieres globally on Saturday, 24 November on channel M. Only on channel M will you exclusively find the best Korean content and enjoy it to the most!
