Singapore, 30 August 2013 – Korean movie stars Jung Woo-Sung, Han Hyo-Joo, along with Lee Junho (from K-Pop boyband 2PM) and Director Cho Ui-Seok were in town last week for the promotional activities and International GALA Premiere of Cold Eyes (감시자들), a South Korean action-packed thriller that is set to hit the Singapore theaters on 5 September 2013.
- Interesting Plot – Every drama/film needs to have an interesting plot to spice up the stories and keep the audience glued to their seats. What sets ‘Cold Eyes’ apart from the others was the twist and turn of events that one would not have expected, and the suspense just keeps on building throughout the entire movie. Not to mention, the cast/characters starring in this movie are definitely a plus point for fans to catch them in action!
- Fact – ‘Cold Eyes’ dominated South Korea’s box office since its release in July, and eventually hit the 5-million mark in cinema attendance, becoming the fifth domestic film to hit the record this year. The film is also set to make its North American premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.
- A ‘First’ achievement for the cast – ‘Cold Eyes’ is considered a major transformation for several cast members, including Jung Woo-Sung who is playing the role of a cold-blooded villain for the first time, Han Hyo-Joo who is starring in an action thriller (for the first time as well), and not forgetting Lee Junho’s film debut. Han Hyo-Joo was said to be even attending lessons to pick up some fighting skills for the movie as well!
There are just so much to look out for in this highly anticipated film that will debut in the Singapore theaters this coming September 5th. For those hesitating or planning to catch the movie, we promise that it’ll be a great treat not to be missed.
