[COVER] Running Man's Monday Couple steals limelight at Singapore Press Conference

Singapore, 18 October 2013 – Prior to channel ONE’s ‘Watsons Race Start! in Singapore‘, 5 of the 7 Running Man resident hosts including HaHa (Ha Dong Hoon), Kim Jong Kook, Ji Suk Jin, Gary (Kang Hee Gun) and Song Ji Hyo were in town for a special appearance at the closed-door press conference held at W Singapore, Sentosa Cove.
Visiting Singapore for the first time, Ji Hyo expressed her excitement of the warm welcome from the Singapore fans at the airport and added that she had been looking forward to meet the fans up-close as this would be her first time joining the other Running Man members at a Fan Meeting session out of Korea.
Affectionately known to the fans as ‘Monday Couple’ on Running Man, the onscreen couple Gary and Ji Hyo definitely stole the highlight of the press conference. When asked about the surprise kiss planted by Gary on Ji Hyo’s cheek on the recent Running Man episode, Gary commented that he was merely crazy upon his action, while his ‘Monday girlfriend’ Ji Hyo confessed that ‘it felt good’.
Apart from the “blossoming romance” of the Monday Couple, the members were also questioned about the type of power they would want to take away from each other. Being the playful one, HaHa cheekily joked that he would want the commander’s (Kim Jong Kook) muscles, the lovey-dovey relationship between the Monday Couple (Gary & Ji Hyo), and last of all – Suk Jin’s age, which led to the ‘Big Nose Hyung’ (Ji Suk Jin) commenting that he would want to take away the betrayal side of HaHa!

Having filmed the variety show for 3 ongoing years,  the 5 Running Man members exclaimed that there was not a time they do not feel like giving up running, as the recording of every episode was way too tiring for them. Despite that, they have grown accustomed to one another as a family and promised to continue working harder for the fans of Running Man.

Before the press conference came to an end, the Running Man members added that they hope to return to Singapore again (together with Yoo Jae Suk & Lee Kwang Soo) to film an exclusive episode of ‘Running Man in Singapore’ if opportunity allows in the near future.
