Official poster of the upcoming drama Misaeng has been released today by CJ E&M. Starring K-Pop Idol group ZE:A’s Yim Si Wan in a lead role, Misaeng depicts the everyday lives of office workers in Korea. For the first time as a Korean Drama, it was filmed in the historic scenes of Jordan.
Misaeng is based on a popular webtoon by Yoon Tae Ho about a failed professional go player who ends up working at a small company to sell used cars. It is expected to explore the lives of average Korean office workers through the episodes. As a lead character, Jang Geu-rae played by Yim Si Wan meets his boss Oh Sang Sik, he struggles to manage daily tasks in the corporate world. Other casts include Kang So Ra, Lee Sung Min and Kang Ha Neul.
Misaeng airs on tvN every Friday and Saturday at 8:40PM (KST) starting October 17.
