[K-TRAVEL/TRAZY] Korean Celebrities' Family-owned Restaurants and Cafés

Hello everyone. Trazy.com is back again with a more fun list of Hallyu places. There are many places run by K-pop idol’s families but there are also several spots operated by Korean actor or actress’ family members. In this post, we will be featuring on the restaurants and cafés operated by the family members of Park Shin Hye, Jo In Sung, Kim Woo Bin and Kang Dong Won.

1) Yang Cheol Book (양철북)
Yang Cheol Book is a lamb tripe restaurant owned by the mother of rising actress Park Shin Hye, who starred as protagonist in the popular dramas “Heirs” and “Pinocchio”. It was opened in 2013 and you will be able to find a lot of posters and items of Park Shin Hye as well as other celebrities’ autographs on the walls. This restaurant mainly offers lamb intestines BBQ.

2) Everything But The Hero
This chic and modern café is owned by Korean actor Jo In Sung’s younger brother. It offers original chocolates with every drink you order and the café gets pretty crowded on the weekend. If you see a handsome looking waiter in the café who resembles the charming actor, don’t be surprised that he’s the younger brother of Jo In Sung!

3) Cham in Coffee (참인커피)
Fans of Korean actor and model Kim Woo Bin have to visit Cham in Coffee when you are in Jeonju. Mostly known as his appearance on the “Heirs”, you’ll be thrilled to know that Kim Woo Bin’s father also owns a cozy café and it’s located right in Jeonju Hanok Village. You will be able to find posters and photos of Kim Woo Bin in the café, especially his recent works like “Heirs”, “School 2013”, “Chingu 2” etc.

4) Café G (카페 G)
Café G is a café owned by the sister of famous model and actor Kang Dong Won. Kang Don Won has been on the scene for quite a while and he’s been considered as one of the top stars in Korea not only for his great looks but also for his praise worthy talent. The café itself is very modern and neat; instead of having Kang Dong Won’s photos all over the place, it displays a photo book on one side of the wall.
