Leessang’s and Running Man’s Kang Gary was in Singapore to film the new channel M program School’s OUT, where he surprised over 400 students at Singapore Polytechnic with a guerilla concert this week.
Appointed as the very first artist for School’s OUT, Gary was initially curious about how the students would be expecting him.
Not being a very studious student at school, the star mentioned that this was the reason why he’s not proficient in English. However, his passion for dancing has brought him to where he is today. His advice for students is to pursue their passion, and to do what they loved so they would not regret in the future.
When asked about an interesting incident at Singapore Polytechnic, Gary mentioned about the 8 students who personally wrote him letters and introduced the different types of local food to him. He felt touched by the actions his fans had provided for him.
Some food that Gary had tried includes Chilli Crabs, Bak Kut Teh and Beancurd, adding that he will miss the taste of these local food, and hopes to open a beancurd store when he returns to Korea! A bonus point is that Gary will personally serve the beancurds to us when we visit his store in Korea, if he does open one that is.
Catch the first episode of School’s OUT on channel M (StarHub TV Channel 824/874 HD and Singtel TV 518 HD) on 14th November 2015, 8.30PM (SGT)! #channelm #schoolsout
