[UPCOMING EVENT] Korean Film Festival 2015 to screen Best 10 Films + Kang Ha Neul to make an appearance


The annual Korean Film Festival (KFF) will return to Singapore this year as a celebration of the 40 years of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Singapore, bringing the top 10 most recent Korean films to screen at the Shaw Theatres Lido from 23rd October to 1st November 2015.

Out of these 10 films, 7 of them have yet to be released in local theatres. Most notably, the line-up includes 2 of the biggest summer blockbusters in Korea this year – Assassination (2015) and Northern Limit Line (2015). The latter film will open the festival at Shaw Lido’s 500-seat theatre on 23rd October 2015.

Other films include the heart-warming dramas Ode to My Father (2014), Love Forecast (2015), mystery thrillers like A Hard Day (2014) and comedies like Detective K: Secret of the Lost Island (2015) and Twenty (2015).

Besides watching the films, fans will be thrilled to know that Korean heartthrob Kang Ha Neul will be attending the film festival and joining the audience for the screening of ‘Twenty’ on 31st Oct. Jointly organized with KMTV, Kang Ha Neul will hold a Meet & Greet session with his fans, which includes a group photo opportunity with the actor. Fans will also receive a pre-signed poster from Kang Ha Neul.

Tickets are priced at $25 (Standard package: Movie ticket & poster) and $50 (Standard package, Autographed Poster, Group Photo) respectively. Sales of the tickets will begin on 10th Oct, from 10am onwards via www.miticketplus.com.
