Are you a fan of Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory? Masizzim may just be the next restaurant you will frequent to satisfy your Korean food craves!
Officially opened this year on 24th September by the same owners of the popular Korean fried chicken chain, Masizzim specializes in serving authentic Korean food. Conveniently located at 313 Somerset, satisfying your Korean food cravings has never been easier!
Their signature dishes are the meat stews, which are available in individual or double portions. Did we mention that the stews are customizable to your personal liking as well?
There are 3 different types of stews being served: Beef Rib Stew, Pork Rib Stew and Spicy Chicken Stew. Apart from the chicken stew, you have the option to opt for spicy or soy broth for your beef and pork stews!
In addition, if you’re afraid that Korean food may be a little too spicy for you, you can opt for the level of spiciness you would like, ranging from level 1 to level 4. You can also choose to have Korean glass noodles or udon, cheese and toppoki added into your stews!
We had the beef and chicken stews served at level 1 and the spiciness was good enough to taste the flavor as well as a little bit of spice.
Served with plastic gloves, the Crispy Anchovies or Flakes of Tuna with Mayo and Fried Kimchi Rice Balls allows you to have some fun before having your meal. We got to roll up our own rice balls before having a taste of it, and it sure tasted much better after all that fun rolling up!
We personally preferred the Tuna with Mayo to the Crispy Anchovies rice balls, as there was a more unique flavor to it.
Don’t forget to also have a taste of their Korean pancakes (Squid & Leek Pancake and Potato Pancake). The sauce used is simply delicious, and the pancakes tastes yummy when dipped into the sauce.
We loved the Steam Egg! Super fluffy and tasted so yummy, we were left craving for more.
We certainly had a fulfilling and enjoyable meal at Masizzim and would definitely recommend Masizzim to all the Korean Foodies who are looking for a great restaurant to satisfy your cravings for authentic Korean Food!
We can never say ‘no’ to Korean food. Are you a Korean Foodie like us too? 😉
