GOT7‘s 1st solo concert “FLY” took flight in Seoul and departed to several cities in Asia (Shanghai, Osaka, Tokyo, Bangkok and Guangzhou) before landing in Singapore on 24 June 2016.
Performing to a full setlist of 29 songs, 4,500 fans were treated to electrifying performances throughout the almost three-hour long concert, including collaboration stages, girl group covers and a special stage prepared just for Singapore Ahgases (GOT7’s fanclub name).
From their debut track to the latest album, we were able to hear songs like ‘Girls Girls Girls‘, ‘Hooked‘, ‘Just Right‘, ‘Fly‘ and ‘Home Run‘, just to name a few.
GOT7 also divided themselves into three teams for the collaboration stages, as 2Jae (JB and Youngjae) captivated the fans with a soothing performance of ‘1:31 AM‘, MarkJin (Mark and Jinyoung/Junior) taking the stage by storm with ‘Higher‘, and JackBamGyeom (Jackson, BamBam and Yugyeom) getting fans hyped with ‘WOLO‘.
One of the highlights during the concert definitely went to the girl group cover stages, as the members proved that they could be versatile in any genre of music and style. Fans enjoyed every moment of it as they watched Mark, Junior and Youngjae performing to GFRIEND’s ‘Me Gustas Tu‘, and JB, Jackson, BamBam and Yugyeom transforming to beautiful ladies for Red Velvet’s hit track ‘Dumb Dumb‘.
GOT7 also prepared a special stage at “FLY in SINGAPORE” concert as they sang their hearts out to JJ Lin’s ‘If Only (可惜没如果)‘, much to the surprise and delight of fans.
Before the concert came to an end, the members expressed their desire to return to Singapore again for a Fan Meet in the near future, with Mark inviting fans to watch their hologram concert at K-Live Sentosa. We sure hope to see the boys again soon!
