Hidden Gems in Myeongdong that you never knew they existed

Forget about cosmetic shops (that are almost everywhere). Forget about (common & expensive) street food. Did you know that Myeongdong, one of South Korea’s most popular shopping districts, is more than just a street lined up with cosmetic shops, retail stores and street food?

For the same (or almost the same) price that you pay for a street snack in Myeongdong itself, you can get a huge bowl of Jjajangmyeon (짜장면 – Korean Black Bean Noodles) or Jjamppong (짬뽕 – Korean Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup) that you always see in Korean dramas and movies, and best of all, it’s delicious, filling, and cheap. Talk about trying authentic dishes in South Korea. 😉

A fan of South Korea’s variety show, Running Man? Then you got to make a trip to the famous Namsan Tonkatsu restaurant that Gary, HaHa and Nam Bo-ra visited on the recommendation of the taxi driver, as featured in Episode 262.
