[COVER] Lee Je Hoon: I Was A Long-Time Fan Of Shin Min Ah

In town to promote his drama, Tomorrow With You, Lee Je Hoon met with the media to share about his thoughts on the 16-episode series as well as working with co-actress Shin Min Ah.

Playing the character of Yoo So-joon in the drama, Lee Je Hoon portrays the role of a time-traveler who could travel through time by taking the subway.

In reality, the actor revealed that it has been 5 to 6 years since he stopped taking the subway as frequently as he used to. If he ever did took the subway, he recalled himself either falling asleep during the journey or reading a magazine on the go.

But there was one incident that he don’t think he’d ever forget anytime soon.

“I was once approached by a lady on the subway,” said the actor, “and I thought that she recognised me.”

He continued, “It turned out that she was trying to struck a conversation with me about gods and religions.” (laughs)

On working with Shin Min Ah, Lee Je Hoon confessed that he was a long-time fan of the actress before they even filmed the drama together.

Since both of them were born in the same year, it was naturally easy for them to break the ice and speak casually to one another just like friends.

The actor also gave generous compliments about Shin Min Ah, sharing that she’s a very friendly and considerate person to work with.

He currently doesn’t have anyone in mind whom he wishes to act with for the future projects, playfully adding that he could only think of Shin Min Ah at this point (since they’re acting together).

Lee Je Hoon also named the various drama roles that he hoped to play in the near future, such as a pro-fighter, lawyer, doctor, or even challenge himself to villain characters like a psychopath or sociopath.

If he could change any scene from the drama, Lee Je Hoon wished to go back to the moment when the characters (Yoo So-joon & Song Ma-rin) meet for the first time, “I want to be clear about my feelings instead of being awkward with Ma-rin. Maybe the storyline might change from there.”

Lee Je Hoon [Tomorrow With You] Media Conference in Singapore was organised by StarHub and covered by HallyuSG. Catch the series on StarHub Go and StarHub TV Ch 855 every Sunday at 10pm!

9 Things That Only Strong Woman Do Bong Soon Can Do

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon is one of the hottest TV dramas currently airing in South Korea, starring Park Bo Young, Park Hyung Sik and Ji Soo. The romance comedy series have quickly captured the hearts of viewers across the globe since its premiere and are breaking rating records with every new episode.

We can’t deny that all ladies, or even gentlemen, are jealous of Do Bong Soon’s superhuman strength, so we picked out 9 of the best scenes from Episodes 1-4 that really got us all cracked up, featuring 9 things that only Do Bong Soon, the Wonder Woman can do (effortlessly).

1) Lifting the tractor with just one hand

2) Cracking walnuts easily with one hand (or two fingers)
Someone pass me a nutcracker please!

3) Causing a mini earthquake as she fell from the bed
LOL

4) Sending Secretary Gong flying during the chicken fight game
Gulp. That must have hurt! Poor Secretary Gong…

5) Ripping shoes apart like a boss
First she ripped the left shoe…

Then she went on to rip the right shoe… As easy as 1, 2, 3!

6) Getting a chopstick stuck in the table
And Ahn Min Hyuk’s expression is just as priceless!

7) Lifting a man with one hand
No surprise now, since she could already lift a tractor with the same hand. But this scene is too hilarious not to share!

8) Making freshly squeezed apple juice with her bare hands
Did someone say apple juice?

9) Carrying a man effortlessly
One of the BEST.SCENES.EVER, hands down.

Gifted with such supernatural strength, Do Bong Soon is definitely a one-of-a-kind in the world! We can’t wait to catch the next episode to find out what else she’s capable of, and how the romance will flow in the drama!

Did this article made your day? Share it with your K-Drama buddies just for laughs!

[COVER] ASTRO Set Hearts Aflutter At First Showcase In Singapore

Talk about dedication, Fantagio’s rising boy band ASTRO shows that they could be versatile in several areas, be it picking up a Mandarin song or displaying their boyish charms through cover performances.

In town for their first showcase last Sunday (March 5), the six-member boy band (Jin Jin, MJ, Eun Woo, Moon Bin, Rocky & Sanha) were seen showering their fans (AROHAs) with plenty of fan-service and affection.

Besides taking time to answer questions from fans, ASTRO also performed several titles from their four mini albums that were released as a four seasons project, including ‘Hide & Seek‘, ‘Breathless‘, ‘Confession‘ and more.

ASTRO, who recently celebrated their first year debut anniversary on February 23, dropped their latest winter special album [Winter Dream] a day prior to their anniversary.

Though the boys did not promote this mini album through music shows, they prepared the performances for ‘붙잡았어야 해‘ and ‘You & Me (Thanks AROHA)‘ at their Singapore showcase, much to the delight of fans.

Fans were also treated to special stages such as a Mandarin cover of Jay Chou’s ‘Love Confession‘ and a fresh rendition of TVXQ’s ‘Balloons‘, where Moon Bin was known as the “mini Yunho” who starred in the 2006 MV.

The showcase was wrapped up on a sweet note with AROHAs and ASTRO celebrating MJ’s birthday (March 5) with a special cake presentation and birthday song.

Were you there at the showcase? Share with us your favourite moment(s) and be sure to stay tuned to our exclusive release of interview with ASTRO in Singapore!

[COVER] Lee Joon Gi: I Didn’t Want The Shoot To End For Scarlet Heart Ryeo

Actor Lee Joon Gi had thousands of fans from all over the world swooning over his good looks and charming vocals at his [THANK YOU] Asia Tour Fan Meeting in Singapore held at the Sentosa Golf Club last Saturday.

It was a first for the actor to hold a fan meet in Singapore, as well as perform in an outdoor venue and at a golf course.

Speaking to media a day prior to his fan meet, Lee Joon Gi shared that it was an enjoyable process making preparations for his show. He didn’t think that singing and dancing is too much of a challenge because it’s part of his hobby.

Said the actor, “I enjoyed singing, dancing and acting, but on a personal level, I wanted to interact more with my fans. This fan meet is an opportunity for me to showcase what I really enjoy doing.”

When asked to share any fond memories from the filming of Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Lee Joon Gi voiced about his initial concern of having a generation gap with his co-actors and actresses as most of them are much younger than him, but added that the chemistry was great on set even before the cameras start rolling.

“It was a lot of fun to act with these young actors and we enjoyed the filming process to the point where I didn’t want the shoot to end.”

Some highlights that evening also include a Mandarin performance of Mayday’s ‘知足‘ and a special tribute of ‘Our Singapore‘ for Singapore fans.
