Singapore’s a cappella vocal band MICappella will be achieving another milestone as they are set to perform at the upcoming Asia Song Festival happening on 24 September in Busan. MICappella has recently won an award for ‘Best Asian A cappella Album’ at the 2017 Contemporary A cappella Recording Awards and has been invited by the Korea Music Content Association to perform at Asia Song Festival in South Korea.
The vocal band will be sharing the stage with some of Asia’s best music talents such as, EXO (South Korea), Nakashima Mika (Japan), Shae (Indonesia) and many more. This year’s festival also sees Zara Larsson as a special guest. The festival has also hosted other superstars over the years such as EXO, BTS and Gem (Hong Kong), just to name a few.
On being invited to perform at the event, MICappella says: “It’s our first time performing in Korea and we are stoked to be able to represent Singapore on such a huge stage with so many other international artistes! We are gonna MICa-rock it!”
