Seoul Bamdokkaebi Night Market To Return From 30 March to 28 October 2018

Visiting night markets is one of the favourite things to do when we are overseas. For those of you traveling to South Korea soon, here’s a good news! If you’ve missed out the Bamdokkaebi Night Market last year, it is returning to Seoul at several locations every weekend starting from 30 March to 28 October 2018.

Look forward to a variety of food trucks selling delicious street snacks, open market with unique handmade items, busking & cultural performances as well as fun events happening at the various night markets! Here’s a sneak peek of it when we visited the Bamdokkaebi Night Market at Cheonggyecheon Stream last August:

When you are there, spot the “dokkaebi” (goblin) which is the mascot of the night (“bam”) market!

Locations of Seoul Bamdokkaebi Night Market 2018:

1. Yeouido World Night Market

Operating Hours: Every Friday & Saturday, 6pm to 11pm
Address: Cascade Plaza at Yeouido Hangang Park, 330, Yeouidong-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul
Getting here: Yeouinaru Station (Subway Line 5), Exit 2 (walk approx. 600 meters)

2. DDP Youth Runway Market

Operating Hours: Every Friday & Saturday, 6pm to 11pm
Address: Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), 281, Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul
Getting here: Dongdaemun History and Culture Park Station (Subway Line 2/4/5), Exit 1 or 2

3. Cheonggyecheon Time Slip Market

Operating Hours: Every Saturday, 4:30pm to 10:30pm & Every Sunday, 4pm to 9pm
Address: Gwangtongyo Bridge area at Cheonggyecheon Stream, 14, Seorin-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul

4. Banpo Romantic Moonlight Market

Operating Hours: Every Friday & Saturday, 6pm to 11pm
Address: Dalbit Square at Banpo Hangang Park, Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul
Getting here: Express Bus Terminal Station (Subway Line 3/7/9, Exit 8-1 or 2 | Sinbanpo Station (Subway Line 9), Exit 1 | Dongjak Station (Subway Line 4/9), Exit 1 or 2 (About 10-15mins on foot)

5. Cheonggye Plaza Season Market

Operating Hours: (Seasonal basis on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays, 6pm to 11pm) 11-13 May / 15-17 June / 14-16 September / 19-21 October
