This Running Man Theme Attraction in Seoul is an OOTD-heaven and A Dream Come True for Running Man Fans

Running Man has been a well-loved K-Variety show that many would be familiar with even if you’re not into the hallyu wave. And in South Korea, a special attraction has been established for fans of the highly popular program, where you get to complete missions (just like the Running Man members), collect R-Points and become the 9th member of Running Man!

Situated right in the heart of Insadong where the SM Duty Free building resides, one can easily locate the huge Running Man icon and signage that leads to the Running Man Thematic Experience Center.

Opened just last year on November 3, this attraction caters to both the young ones and the young-at-heart. It is categorized into 6 different zones, where missions are planted all around and you’ll need to try completing all missions and earn as many R-Points as possible within 60 minutes.

Upon entry, you’ll be given an electronic wristband to collect and record the R-Points, then subsequently led to this waiting area where you get to choose which color team to belong in.

Even though instructions were announced in Korean, there are various digital signages in English and Mandarin around the center, so one didn’t have to worry so much about having any language barrier.

Once the Race starts, find yourself being immersed in the various activities as you search for the hidden R-Points through low and dark mazes, ball-throwing, puzzles, and many more!

Test your agility and squeeze your way through without touching the lines!

There are also other in-house games where you can test your running skills, strength, screaming ability and more as you collect the R-Points. Somewhat similar to some of the games we saw on Running Man. Besides the challenges, these spots are great photo zones for pictures too!

Continue the adventure in the LED mirror maze, our favourite part of the attraction. If you’ve been to the Future World exhibition (in Singapore) and love the futuristic Space installations, this mirror maze is going to impress you further with its LED lights and scale.

(Good luck in finding your way out! And of course, don’t forget to collect the R-Points along the way too!)

For the photo-enthusiasts, you can easily spend half the time here trying to capture the perfect shot because the lights will change every few seconds, but trust us, it is absolutely stunning and amazing! Just the perfect OOTD shot you’d want to post onto your Instagram, and everyone else will start asking you where this picture was taken. 😀

Finish off your race with a bonus station at the end, and don’t forget to head to the R-Point Check to review the total R-Points earned during your mission time. The time limit to complete the race is 60 minutes, so make sure you come prepared and ready for the challenges!

For those who collect more than 80 points, you actually do receive a certificate and gift, otherwise you can still walk home with a small Running Man badge as a nice souvenir.

A delight for kids and adults of all ages, the Running Man Thematic Experience Center recreates the excitement of the variety show and brings out the inner fan (and sporty spirit) in you when you are there to experience the fun yourself!

When we were there on a weekend morning, it was a little crowded but not overwhelming, hence we’d recommend to visit early or during the weekdays if you’d want to avoid the crowd or long queue.
