[COVER] Sandara Park Revealed Her Style Has Changed Completely After Debuting In 2NE1

Korean beauty icon and fashionista Sandara Park was in Singapore last week to film the all-new K-Beauty TV series Get It Beauty On The Road, where she stars in as a host for the programme along with two local Singapore celebrities Chantalle Ng and Tay Ying as her co-hosts.

Slated to premiere in July, the programme will explore the latest beauty trends and products, as the trio go around Singapore to introduce these trends and gadgets.

As the main host for the beauty programme, Dara confessed that she was nervous as this was the first time where she had to speak in English throughout the entire recording. At the same time, she expressed that it got her really excited as she was able to share her own beauty and wellness tips on the programme.

The beauty guru also encouraged fans and viewers to tune in to the series when it premieres in July, revealing that she’d also taught some exercising and workout tricks that they can complete easily anywhere, which will be helpful for those who can’t frequent the gym often.

With her busy schedule around the clock, Dara also mentioned that even though she does not have time to visit the studio and work on music, she’s always ready to embrace new challenges and projects, be it in the field of acting or singing.

To keep her face glowing and radiant everyday, she puts on a mask pack every night to ensure that her skin gets enough moisture the next day, emphasising the importance of taking care of one’s skin.

On beauty trends that she’s obsessed over, Dara claimed that she’s a cosmetic fanatic as she loves buying new and trending items to try them out. She also talked about how she first developed the interest in beauty and fashion, which started since she was 8 years old.

“I love buying makeup and clothes back when I was very young. But my style totally changed when I was in 2NE1! My stylist recommended different ways to dress up and what’s suitable for me — and I love it so much since then.”

“It’s always very important to choose the right (makeup) products for yourself. Of course, do eat properly too. You will be able to find out more tips in the programme when it premieres!”

Get It Beauty On The Road will premiere on 10 July 2018 (Every Tuesday) at 6:30pm on tvN Asia (StarHub TV Ch. 824 & Singtel TV Ch. 518/619) and at 8pm on Hub E City (StarHub TV Ch. 111/825). Non-StarHub TV customers can also catch the show for free on StarHub Go. The 4-episode series will be conducted in Mandarin, Korean and English, and paired with subtitles.

[COVER] Singapore Fans Swooned Over Eric Nam’s Charms And His Great Personality

Korean-American singer-songwriter and pop star Eric Nam was in Singapore to grace the 1st anniversary celebrations of dal.komm COFFEE on May 5, where he attended a press conference to share about his latest mini album and held a Meet & Greet session thereafter at Marina Square.

Recently dropped his new EP [Honestly] in April, Eric Nam has set a new record for himself as the mini album debuted at No.6 on Billboard’s World Albums chart. With the great success following the five track mini album, the singer revealed the hard work and effort that was put into the creative process of writing and producing each song, which took him a few years to piece up everything together.

Quoting what he said was an intensive creative process, Eric also mentioned that he received inspirations from experiences in life, be it personal or related to his friends.

“We all go through the same things in life, just different versions and different processes of it. I wanted to put together a piece of what makes sense and tells a story. Those are the kinds of emotions I want to include in my songs.”

Eric further commented that he hoped people who listen to his songs could understand and relate to the story and lyrics, and added that he want to keep going on this path for his direction and style of music.

At the Meet & Greet session, the pop star performed four songs for his fans, including ‘Honestly…‘, ‘Can’t Help Myself‘, ‘Good For You‘ and an English rendition of ‘Beautiful‘, the hit soundtrack from popular K-Drama “Goblin”, which dal.komm COFFEE (Korea) was known to be featured in the drama. 120 lucky fans also scored the opportunity to get up-close and personal with Eric through an autograph session.

During the open press conference that was held a day prior to the Fanmeet, the boys shared about their desire to work with other label mates in Brand New Music should any opportunity arise in the near future. They also revealed the secret habits of each other — from Young Min waking up in different sleeping positions everyday to Dong Hyun ordering fried chicken at 6am, the duo kept fans laughing with glee at their unique habits.

Young Min, who is part of the cast for the second season of web variety show “Photo People”, further shared that he is enjoying his new found hobby as the program has aroused his desire for learning more about the art of photography. He also makes sure to bring his camera along on every trip to improve his photography skills.

On the other hand, Dong Hyun’s love for food became more apparent when he revealed his guilty pleasure of bringing every Korean’s favourite midnight snack — instant noodles, on every trip he goes.

During the Fanmeet, the MXM boys performed some fan-favourite tracks, such as  “I’m The One“, “Perfectly Perfect“, “Errday“, their latest title hit “Gone Cold” and more, driving fans into a wild frenzy with their endearing stage presence.

Some lucky fans were invited on stage for a round of pictionary game and charades with the boys, winning themselves hand-drawn drawings and polaroid opportunities with MXM.

Revisited Singapore after 19 years, Young Min was excited to return for this Fanmeet to perform in the country where he used to live in when he was much younger. He remembered Singapore as a warm and clean city, and still is after making a trip back here 19 years later.

As the Fanmeet continued and reached its climax towards the end, the boys wrapped up the show as they danced in sync to “Being Objective“, “Diamond Girl” and “I Just Do“, drawing a sweet closure to their first show in Singapore.
