[COVER] CL Shows at Hyperplay that She Truly is the Baddest Female

K-pop superstar CL was in town last weekend for Hyperplay, the very first ASEAN esports and music festival which was held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 4 and 5 August.

The singer was the closing act on the first day, and showed everyone that her performance was truly worth the wait. She started her phenomenal 13-track set with “The Baddest Female”, a definite crowd-favourite, and gave fans a special treat with her very first live performance of “No Better Feelin’”, which she sang for the official soundtrack of My Little Pony: The Movie.

CL also performed “Lifted”, “Gotta Be You”, “Doctor Pepper” and “MTBD”, amongst many others, and showed her incredible energy and stage presence throughout the show, going to all ends of the stage to interact with her fans up-close.

Her powerful voice flooded the stadium as she performed nostalgic tracks like “Come Back Home”, “Falling in Love” and “Can’t Nobody”, which had everyone singing along with her.

Taking the opportunity to express her deep gratitude and appreciation for her fans and the relationship that they have, CL commented, “Thank you so much. You guys impress me every single day how strong you guys are; How strong we are as a team!”

The show ended on an explosive note as her energy peaked with “I Am The Best”, which left fans going wild and longing for more.
