The world’s first BITE&BITE with LINE FRIENDS themed restaurant has landed at the Hong Kong International Airport on January 8, 2019. Helmed by F&B specialist SSP Hong Kong and Line Corporation, the restaurant spans over 1,100 sqft and is able to seat up to 60 people in its dining area.

Though LINE FRIENDS has stores in Seoul, Tokyo, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Los Angeles and more, this is the first time the brand has expanded into a full-service themed restaurant. Visitors to the new restaurant can look out for 8 LINE FRIENDS check-in points that are great for photo opportunities, which feature the popular plateau of characters including the world’s first-ever example of Mega Brown dining on a burger.

The menu is inspired by Korean and Western flavours, and offers items infused with the cute characters on it, such as Bites (a.k.a Burgers), Rice Box, Friends Platter, Wings and Sides, as well as Drinks and Desserts. The restaurant also offers signature Korean-style condiments with their very own special recipe.

No themed restaurant is complete without merchandise to bring home as souvenir! Here at the BITE&BITE with LINE FRIENDS restaurant, one can also find a whole range of collectibles and merchandise items such as the character plush dolls, stickers, notebooks, luggage tags, neck pillows, pouches, and many more.

The only downside to this restaurant is that it is situated post-immigration in the Midfield Concourse at the airport, which means it’s only accessible to travellers, their main target audience anyway. So if you’re flying out or transiting at the Hong Kong International Airport, here’s where you can swing by to have a coffee or meal before your flight!

Location: Hong Kong International Airport, Terminal 1, Departures Level (L7, near Gates 201-230), Midfield Concourse (Restricted Area)

Opening Hours: 7 am to 1 am (GMT+8)
