Maxim Coffee is one of my favourite coffee brands to stock up whenever I visit Korea. This instant coffee just lifts me up with its tantalizing aroma and well-balanced flavour, which is light and smooth yet flavorful. So imagine my inner excitement when I found out that there is currently a pop-up cafe for Maxim Coffee located near one of Seoul’s hippest neighborhoods — Hapjeong-dong.

Just a 15 minutes walk away from Hongdae (or 10 minutes from Hapjeong Station), the Maxim pop-up cafe is a sight to behold with its striking yellow and white façade. This isn’t the first pop-up cafe for the coffee brand, but for every pop-up cafe, there’ll always be a different theme to look out for.

This time, the main theme of the pop-up cafe is the Maxim Mocha Radio, where there’s a dedicated corner for DJs to go on air through live radio broadcasts.

Just like the previous pop-up cafes, visitors will be able to sip on coffee (and munch on some cookies) for free! How awesome is that?!

And the best thing is, the cafe is also giving out Maxim mugs for free, limit to the first 700 redemptions per day. Simply upload your photos on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #모카라디오 and #맥심모카라디오, show it to the staff over the counter, and you’ll be able to redeem your Maxim mug!

There are also corners for merchandise sale, photo booth, or you could simply just sit and chill with relaxing music at the music room on the 2nd floor. They even have a rooftop on the 3rd floor for those who prefer the outdoor seating or are looking for another dreamy spot for the grams. In fact, every corner of the cafe is so photo-worthy that I don’t even know where to start.

This Maxim pop-up cafe will only be operating until July 17, 2019, so if you’re around the Hongdae area, why not check this cool place out? Some celebrities (such as Sam Hammington & William) have also visited here and left their signatures on the wall too!
