[K-Movie] New Comedy Film ‘Mr. Zoo: The Missing VIP’ Sets Opening Date in Singapore Cinemas

A brand new comedy film ‘Mr. Zoo: The Missing VIP’ is about to make its way into Singapore cinemas this March! While on a mission to protect a VIP (a Chinese panda named Ming Ming), elite National Security agent Tae-ju (Lee Sung-min) acquires an ability to communicate with animals after a freak accident.

Showing a special bonding between man and animals, the heartwarming film brings animal lovers’ fantasy to life with its fun and entertaining plot. Numerous actors and actresses also played a part in dubbing the animal voices, such as Shin Ha-kyun, Yoo In-na, Lee Jung-eun, Lee Sun-Hyun and more.

Film Synopsis:
Top National Intelligence Service agent Tae-ju (played by Lee Sungmin) injures his head while on a mission protecting a VIP – a Chinese panda named Ming Ming, from a group of terrorists. As a result of the accident, he suddenly possesses a strange ability to communicate with animals. Tae-ju then realizes that the only witness to the kidnapping may be a retired military dog named Ali (voiceover by Shin Ha-kyun). Although he hates animals, he and Ali soon become unlikely partners to rescue Ming Ming.

[K-Movie] Ha Jung-woo and Kim Nam-gil Heighten Tension in New Horror Film ‘The Closet’

Surpassing over a million mark at the Korea box office in just 11 days after its premiere, Ha Jung-woo and Kim Nam-gil‘s new horror film ‘THE CLOSET‘ is making impressive records with its fresh storyline.

Taking on an imaginative concept in which closet doors open and a child disappears, the film explores the subject matter of a mysterious closet that has never been seen in a Korean film. With a single closet, the story unfolds into uncharted territories with plot twists that defy audience expectations.

Film Synopsis:
When a tragic accident leaves Sang-won (played by Ha Jung-woo) and his daughter Ina (played by Heo Yul) without their wife and mother, he moves to a new home to restore his relationship with his daughter. Despite all his efforts, nothing he does seems to work, but she makes a new friend who makes her laugh. This moment of peace doesn’t last long, as strange noises trickle out of their closet and Ina begins displaying strange behaviors.

A few days after Sang-won starts having eerie nightmares, Ina disappears without a trace. While searching for her, Sang-won comes across enigmatic Kyung-hoon (played by Kim Nam-gil), who seems to know where Ina has disappeared to: the closet. Kyung-hoon tells Sang-won that he’s been looking for whereabouts of missing children for the past 10 years and believes that the key to finding Sang-won’s daughter is inside the closet. Desperate to find his daughter, Sang-won reaches out to open the forbidden closet…

[K-Movie] HITMAN: Agent Jun To Draw Laughter in Singapore Cinemas this February

A hilarious comedy filled with actions, HITMAN: Agent Jun tells a fun-filled story about its main character Jun (played by Kwon Sang-woo), a former NIS special agent who draws classified, top-secrets in a webtoon and becomes the target of the NIS and terrorists.

Starring a great line-up of cast including Kwon Sang-woo, Jung Jun-ho, Hwang Woo Seul-hye and Lee Yi-kyung, this movie contains a great synergy between the unique roles filled with unforgettable action scenes and laughter from the beginning to the end.

Film Synopsis:
Jun (played by Kwon Sang-woo) is a top agent of the National Intelligence Service who can strike down dozens of terrorists in one fell swoop. Depressed and angry at himself, Jun suddenly draws a webtoon of his past as a secret agent. To his shock, the webtoon gets accidently revealed to the public, goes viral, and becomes a huge hit! Consequently, some members of the NIS and organized gangs, with grudges against Jun, come across the webtoon and start to hunt him down.

Scheduled to take place at The Star Theatre this Saturday, 8 February, the concert will unfortunately not be able to go on and will not be postponed as well, likely because it’s the last concert tour before the members enlist.
