Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster has teamed up with BLACKPINK’s Jennie to launch Jentle Home, a collection featuring eyewear pieces and eyewear accessories. That’s not all, as there’s also a Jentle Home pop-up space — designed to recreate the fantasies and memories of Jennie — open from now to 12 September 2020 in Seoul.
Jentle Home Collection

Shot by fashion photographer Hugo Comte, the campaign images show Jennie (and her clones) casually lounging around in a luxurious and cosy setting while effortlessly rocking the pieces from the Jentle Home collection. Featuring frames in a variety of styles, the eyewear pieces can be styled together with the chains from the collection in a multitude of ways.

Take your cue from none other than Jennie herself, who has recently posted multiple Instagram pictures from her mini photoshoot at home, where she styled the Jentle Home pieces her way. This collaboration has truly further cemented Jennie’s reputation as a fashion icon.
Jentle Home Pop-Up

Inspired by Jennie’s childhood memories, the Jentle Home pop-up space invokes nostalgia and is sure to provide a sentimental experience for all visitors.
On the first floor is a dollhouse, displaying the everyday lives of these dolls with its intricate details. The second floor leads to four rooms: the dressing room, kitchen, living room, and teddy bear room. Recreating Jennie’s imagination, the teddy bear room is dreamy in pink, featuring a teddy bear fountain. On the third floor is the Jentle Home Market, a retro-themed supermarket where visitors can purchase special miniature candy that resemble flip phones, ring pops and lipsticks.

Knowing that many fans all over the world won’t be able to experience the Jentle Home pop-up in person, Gentle Monster has also brought Jentle Home online where you can have a virtual experience of the space. Experience it yourself here!
NUDAKE, an artistic dessert brand by Gentle Monster, has also uploaded a vlog on their YouTube Channel, taking you on a Jentle Home tour. There are many details in the pop-up space, so don’t miss them out. Watch the vlog here:
A day before the official opening of the Jentle Home pop-up to the public, Jennie visited the pop-up which sparked the hashtags #DesignerJennieDay and #0512JentleHomeWithJennie to trend on Twitter in support of the star’s collaboration.

This is undoubtedly a well thought out collaboration that offers more than just an eyewear collection. The pop-up space will definitely be a hit with both fans and non-fans alike for its Instagram-worthy themed rooms that combine fun and dreamy elements.
