Military Musical Starring Park Chan-yeol, Jang Ki-yong and More To Be Live Telecast in Singapore

For two days only in May, catch your favourite Hallyu stars on the big screen as Golden Village will be telecasting a live musical simultaneously with Korea.

Starring Park Chan-yeol (EXO), Jang Ki-yong, Kim Hyo-jin (ONF), Lee In-pyo (IN2IT) and Lee Seung-jun (ONF), the BLUE HELMET: A SONG OF MEISSA live musical relays the story of a young man, Laman (played by Chan-yeol), who dreams of becoming a K-pop star and ultimately stands at the edge of winning the audition. Laman was born and raised in a fictional country called Kamur, and he goes to South Korea to pursue his dreams, where K-pop auditions are held.

For those who didn’t know, this is actually a military musical and the actors starring in it are currently active serving in the military. Blue Helmet: A Song of Meissa also marks Jang Ki-yong’s musical debut, as he continues his acting in the military and showcases his hidden singing talent. The actor will be playing the character Yeon Joon-seok, a man who is facing a crossroad in his life in Kamur.

Kim Hyo-jin and Lee Seung-jun from K-pop boy group ONF will also be part of the musical line-up, raising the overall anticipation as audiences can look forward to a heartwarming story filled with dreams, hope, and friendship.
