Shoong! Taeyang and Lisa drop teaser for upcoming collaboration

It’s looking like a busy year already for Taeyang. The BIGBANG member revealed yet another epic collaboration. This time round, it’s with Blackpink’s Lisa.

Titled Shoong!, the song will be part of his upcoming EP – Down to Earth, which will drop next Tuesday (25 Apr).

Record label The Black Label previously dropped an edgy teaser poster across its social media platforms. It featured Taeyang reuniting with Lisa – his former labelmate back at YG Entertainment.

The pair is clad in stylish streetwear, aptly in front of a black-pink decoration.

Taeyang seems to have ditched his blonde hairdo for an intriguing, fresh look of pink. Fans last saw him in the blonde hairdo earlier this year in the music video for Vibe (2023), a track he worked on with BTS’ Jimin.

The B-side track will be an upbeat, R&B track. And fans of Blackpink can also look forward to its release as Lisa is expected to star in the music video.

The Blackpink songstress is currently on tour with the group and they’ve just made history, again, by becoming the first K-pop band to headline Coachella.

She expressed her excitement for the upcoming song, by reposting the teaser on her Instagram page, saying that it “feels like a dream”.

Meanwhile, Taeyang has also been teasing the 2nd mini album with a series of posts including it’s album art and even video snippets of his title track “Seed” – an emotional ballad with his signature vocals.
