What's New

In the post Covid-19 world that we live in now, it’s time for some revenge travel. And you could well consider heading to South Korea next.
For those who are planning to do so, the Korea Tourism Organisation is holding a timely travel fair next weekend. It will run from 12 May (Fri) to 14 May (Sun) at Our Tampines Hub.
The three-day travel fair will allow the public to discover the latest travel trends, products, and services.
Actor Lee Do-hyun to make special appearance
A special guest will also grace the fair. South Korean actor Lee Do-hyun will visit on the second day of the fair.
The 28 year-old actor made his acting debut with Prison Playbook (2017). He was later nominated as the Character of the Year at the 2018 SBS Drama Awards for his role in the black comedy series.
But he’s probably more known recently for his role as Joo Yeo-jeong in Netflix’s The Glory (2022). He plays a romantic plastic surgeon with a dark secret – who happens to be Moon Dong-eun’s (Song Hye-kyo) sidekick.
According to a press release, he will “share his travel experience in different parts of Korea while shooting for his [various] drama series”.
And some lucky fans can stand a chance to win an autograph signed by Lee during his travel talk show too.
What to expect at the 2023 Korea Travel Fair
“Together with Lee Do-hyun, we are confident that [the travel fair] will provide a unique experience for both exhibitors and visitors,” said Ms. Kim Young Hee, Director of Korea Tourism Organization Singapore Office.
“We are committed to promoting tourism and providing a platform that allows our partners to showcase their products and services. [And] also offering consumers a one-stop-shop for all their travel needs,” she added.
This year’s travel fair will feature more than 55 exhibitors. They include regional tourism organizations, airlines, travel agencies, and Korean retailers. Attractive travel deals, retail discounts, and exclusive offers are also in store.
To cater to current trends, the event will also feature K-pop performances, K-movie screenings, amidst other activities.
