What's New

Many Korean acts, like BTS’ Suga, Twice and ATEEZ have previously announced shows in Singapore.
The latest addition to the list is Chinese boy band WayV. They are the fourth overall sub-unit of SM Entertainment’s mega boy band NCT.
They will be holding their fan meeting tour, titled Phantom, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 2 June (Fri). It is Vesak Day, a public holiday in Singapore.

WayV named their fan meeting after their fourth mini album which dropped last December.
Another subunit of the large K-pop band, NCT Dream, recently played to a sellout crowd at the Singapore Indoor Stadium last week.
WayV made their debut back in 2019. And they are made up of seven members — Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang.
Five WayV members attending
For the upcoming fan meet, only “five members will be attending”, according to an official statement by SM Entertainment. They are Kun, Ten, Xiaojun, Hendery and YangYang.
The boy band is widely known for their top hits like Turn Back Time (2020) and Kick Back (2021). Both of which have Korean and Mandarin versions.
The group, mostly made up of Chinese members, has a large following back in Mainland China.
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, they also held promotional events in different parts of China — including Shenzhen and Wuhan.
The band also recently held an event in Japan as a quintet at Yokohama’s Pia Arena MM.
