One of K-pop’s hottest female acts of our time, NewJeans, is gearing up for their upcoming comeback.
The girl group, composed of Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, and Hyein, recently announced that they will be coming back with their 2nd EP.
They will offer a tease to their new album with title track Super Shy and another intro tune, which will drop on 7 Jul.
The rest of the album will come officially later in July, on 21 Jul.
It will be fronted by three title tracks – namely Super Shy, ETA and Cool With You. These three tunes will be accompanied by other B-side tracks, titled New Jeans, Get Up and ASAP.

The album contains a total of six tracks.
According to ADOR, the girl’s entertainment label, each track on the album will get a music video. And there will be a “one-of-a-kind partnership with a global brand and a surprise guest appearance”, they said.
In a teaser which dropped yesterday (19 Jun), we saw NewJeans fully commit to their retro, Y2K concept.
They shared a video of The Powerpuff Girls, in 8-bit nonetheless, where members become heroes in the 2D game. The short clip ended with the words “NewJeans ASAP”.

This is a tease to the upcoming collaboration between NewJeans and The Powerpuff Girls, where they will be given a “special” music video. This is to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary.
The girls aren’t strangers to brand collaborations. Members are currently fronting luxury brands, and the group is also the ambassador of American clothing company Levi’s.
Separately, NewJeans will be holding their upcoming first fan meeting, titled Bunnies Camp, at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium next month. They will play at the two-day show on the first weekend of July.
