Subway Korea previously revealed that they would have Cha Eun-woo endorse the brand, back in June.
And it seems like fans in Singapore are not left out as well.
Subway Singapore posted on its Facebook page yesterday: “Just another day at Subway®… Wait—is that our new ambassador”? The post came with a photo of one of its staff standing beside a Cha Eun-woo standee.
Fans will be glad to hear that there will be some promotional activities revolving around Cha Eun-woo Singapore.
Some of his photocards are up for grabs. To get your hands on them, simply purchase any Subway Melt Series combo meal.
The brand’s new Melt Series consist of three ready-made subs. This includes the Pizza Melt, NYC Beef Meatball and the Supreme Californian Avocado Club.
You then tell the cashier a melt-worthy pick-up line to get the first out of four exclusive photocards. The photocards come in four different designs, and each photocard will be given out for two weeks, till stocks last.
For instance, this week’s pick-up line is: “Want to know the way to my heart? Subway”.
The pick-up lines for the following weeks will be posted on Subway’s social media pages.
Separately, Cha Eun-woo was last in town to launch Dior’s La Collection Privée Dioriviera fragrance at Singapore’s Tanjong Beach Club.
Talking about other food-related promotional strategies, we also saw K-pop girl group Blackpink launch limited-edition summer merchandise with Starbucks.
They even came up with the brand to push out their own drink, the Blackpink Strawberry Choco Cream Frappuccino Blended Beverage.
