Blackpink to hold Born Pink World Tour finale concerts at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome

The upcoming Blackpink finale concerts of their Born Pink world tour series will put an end to their almost one-year of touring.

Global girl group sensation Blackpink are bringing the finale of their Born Pink world tour back to their own area.

As you might have guessed, they will hold the show in Seoul, South Korea.

Composed of Lisa, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo, the quartet will be holding two encore shows on 16 and 17 Sep. This officially wraps up their Born Pink world tour, one which they have taken to 41 countries across an 11-month period.

They just announced the venue of the two-day extravaganza to be Gocheok Sky Dome. It is the biggest indoor performing venue in South Korea with a 20,000 seating capacity.

Blackpink will be breaking history by being the first-ever K-pop girl group to hold their individual concert there.

The four-piece girl group has also been taking the world by storm one continent at a time with concerts in North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. Thereafter, they also held encore shows in Bangkok, Paris, and various parts of North America.

Members of Blink, the girl group’s official fan club, can purchase tickets to the finale concerts beforehand. It will be on 29 Aug at 8PM KST (7PM SGT). General sales commence on 1 Sep, 7PM KST (6PM SGT).

Global fans who are unable to be physically present for the actual concert can join in for the live streaming of the second show. Ticket sales for online streaming can be bought via Weverse shop.

Separately, Blackpink is currently in talks with YG Entertainment pertaining to their contract renewals. It is unclear whether the girls will renew their contracts with the entertainment giant just yet.

Fingers crossed though, that this is not the last we see of the quartet.
