Korean pop music festival HallyuPopFest will return to Singapore for another run come November.

The one-day festival will happen on 12 Nov (Sun) at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

HallyuPopFest’s previous line-ups in 2018 and 2019 are star-studded, to say the least. And this time, it’s not one to disappoint as well.

The upcoming festival will bring in a total of five acts. This includes soloists like Taeyang and Kwon Eun-bi as well as other group acts like Kep1er, SF9 and DKZ.

Taeyang, 35, will be headlining the festival in Singapore. And he recently dropped his second EP, Down to Earth (2023), back in April.

For the album, he also teamed up with various powerhouse artists, like Blackpink’s Lisa and BTSJimin for Shoong! (2023) and Vibe (2023) respectively.

The upcoming HallyuPopFest will bring to fans an evening concert show.

But like in the previous editions of HallyuPopFest, fans can also look forward to other fringe events. Examples of these fringe activities include a meet-and-greet session and a red carpet walk, according to the HallyuPopFest website.

Headliner Taeyang will be participating in the red-carpet and show segment, but not the meet-and-greet session.

Previous editions of HallyuPopFest

Its first run in 2018 saw K-pop artists like NCT 127, Taeyeon, BTOB bring high-octane performances to local fans.

The festival returned to Singapore a year later with acts like Winner, (G)I-DLE, Super Junior and more.

It then kicked off plans to go global and stopped by the UK and Australia. In 2022, it staged two shows in London’s OVO Arena Wembley in July and Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena in August.

More recently, HallyuPopFest announced they will stage the festival in Macau’s Wynn Palace. The festival will run for two days, from 21 to 22 Oct (Sat-Sun).
