K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty’s label, Attrakt, is holding auditions in Singapore to find talents for a new girl group.

So here’s a call to all rising stars. If you have a talent for singing, rapping or dancing, look no further.

Titled Second Chance At Cupid, this audition is jointly held by local company Evergreen Group Holdings and Attrakt.

Singaporean David Yong is the CEO of Evergreen Group Holdings. But other than just fronting the company, he’s also a lawyer and an investor.

He has also dropped a few tracks of his own. Yong teamed up with Mamamoo’s Moonbyul for Maybe Love (2023) and recently joined forces with DJ Soda for Dripping (2023).

According to Korean media outlet News1, Evergreen Group Holdings is set to invest 10 billion won in Attrakt.

How to participate

To be eligible for this audition, participants would have to be at least 14 years old. Applications will be from now till 2 Oct (Mon).

The final round of auditions will be held at Orchard Central during the first week of October.

Participants will have to choose between these two categories:
1. Vocal or rap (maximum one minute) without music
2. Dance (maximum one minute) without music

Participants who choose the dance category will have to prepare a song on their own devices. The audition tape can be sent via email to evergreenxattraktauditions@evergreenassets.asia.

According to local outlet Mothership, training will be given to the winner of the Singapore auditions.

She will then be flown to South Korea to participate in a survival programme later this year. The final lineup of the new girl group will be announced then.

The group is set to debut in the second quarter of 2024, comprising at least one member from Southeast Asia.
