Following the announcement, Bally’s CEO Nicolas Girotto said: “We’re thrilled to have versatile artist DK from iconic group Seventeen as our new global ambassador.
“His trendy style and warm personality perfectly fit with Bally’s core values,” he added.
On his recent appointment, DK said that it’s a “huge honour” for him to be fronting the brand.
“I look forward to showcasing Bally’s artistry, excellence, and passion with my future activities,” the 26-year-old singer added.
Born Lee Seok-min, DK was previously spotted at the brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 show at the Milan Fashion Week back in February.
Then, he wore a sleek black suit, completing the look with a fitting bag from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection.
On a musical front, his band, Seventeen, recently announced that they will be coming back with a new mini album.
Titled SEVENTEENTH Heaven, this albums follows after their 10th mini album, FML (2023).
Notably, the album earned the group its highest charting releasing on the Billboard 200 to date. It is also the most pre-ordered K-pop album at the time of its release.
