Jisoo at Dior’s Paris Fashion Week SS24 Show: Monochromatic look, grunge-inspired outfit

Jisoo of Blackpink has done it once again.

She’s all out to impress with her best fashion moments, this time at Dior’s SS24 show at the Paris Fashion Week.

Paris Fashion Week runs from Monday (25 Sep) through next Tuesday (3 Oct).

The 28-year-old singer chose a monochromatic look, wearing black from head to toe. She was spotted in a double-breasted tailored dress from the brand’s new collection.

This time, she goes lighter on the accessories. Instead, she complemented the look with buckled knee-high suede boots.

And how can she miss out on the iconic handbag? Jisoo holds the patent Lady D-Joy bag in one hand.

She was later spotted at the front row of the brand’s show, centring on challenging historical female stereotypes.

Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri aimed to bring out, and “celebrate the defiant and difficult women who make history,” per Hypebae.

During the show, there was also a video art installation named Not Her by Rome-born artist Elena Bellantoni. There were large displays on the objectification of women, collated from post-war advertising.

And this, in itself, was “a full counterblast against masculine domination that led to a new rebellious vision of Dior,” per Fashion Network.

Other than the Blackpink member, other stars present include Jenna Ortega, Jennifer Lawrence, Anna Taylor-Joy and Tontawan Tantivejakul.

In other Blackpink news, following their finale shows for Born Pink in Seoul. It is still unclear whether members have renewed their contract with YG Entertainment. Speculations are still rife, and only time will tell.

On fashion, the recently-concluded Milan Fashion Week also saw K-pop stars like TWICE’s Momo and Sana, with Enhypen and Seventeen’s DK.
