Sorn will be taking fans on a journey through the evolution of her art over the last decade very soon. She will be holding her first solo Singapore concert at the Capitol Theatre come 25 Nov (Sat).
The show will be “a deeply personal and emotional journey” which embraces “both dance and music”, according to a press release.
The 26-year-old singer also hopes to express her gratitude to fans who have supported her throughout her career through her upcoming performance.
“I’m working really hard to put on a show full of surprises,” she teased. Fans can look forward to seeing sides of herself that she had never shown before.
“Not only are we going to sing and dance together, we’re going to laugh and cry together too,” she added.
From K-pop days to her solo career
Many may know Sorn as a member of K-pop girl group CLC, as she debuted with the band in 2015 as the lead vocalist. She was 18 then.
Later in 2021, she signed with WILD Group. And she dropped a total of six digital singles since, with her latest being Rowdy (2023).
Speaking to HallyuSG exclusively, she said: “I would have never thought I would be able to pull this type of concept off at all”. She added that releasing the track was also “quite a boundary-pushing moment for my music”.
