K-pop boy band RIIZE will be making their comeback with a new single. Titled Talk Saxy, the track is set to drop this Friday (27 Oct).

The band’s agency, SM Entertainment, made the announcement yesterday (23 Oct).

According to an official statement released, the track has a “composition that melds saxophone melodies with drum machine beats and lyrics capturing the group’s authentic style”, per The Korea Times.

RIIZE made their debut just last month with their album Get A Guitar (2023). But they have been known for their trademark “emotional-pop” genre, which also conveys their youthful sentiments through their music.

A day before the official release of their new music, they will also hold a live broadcast. It will be a preview of their upcoming track Talk Saxy.

The broadcast will be available on YouTube, TikTok, RIIZE’s Weverse Channel and Idol Plus, per XsportsNews.

“We invite all to anticipate the fresh facets the upcoming song will unveil,” SM Entertainment added.

RIIZE is a seven-piece band with members Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton. They are the latest addition to SM Entertainment’s extensive roster of artists.

Its group name is a combination of the two words rise and realise. And it perfectly encapsulates what’s in store for the boys and their collective growth and dreams moving forward.
