Former Girls’ Generation member Jessica Jung brings concert tour to Singapore in December

Former Girls’ Generation member Jessica Jung is the latest artist to be bringing her show to Singapore before the year ends.

The 34-year-old singer-songwriter will stage her Diamond Dreams concert tour in Singapore on 16 Dec (Sat), at the Resorts World Convention Centre, Resorts World Ballroom.

Her Singapore stop of the tour comes after the Macau one, which takes place on 25 Nov (Sat). It is not clear, as of the time of writing, if there will be additional stops.

This marks Jung’s first solo show in Singapore. But she had performed here on various occasions with Girls’ Generation before, including the group’s 2013 Girls and Peace tour.

Diamond Dreams is her second solo tour to date. Her first one was a mini-concert tour titled On Cloud Nine, which stopped by Taipei, Bangkok and various cities in Japan.

After she departed from the girl group, Jung continued solo activities both as a singer and an entrepreneur. Jung made a foray into the fashion industry and established her own fashion label Blanc & Eclare. The brand has garnered international recognition for its innovative and elegant designs.

On the musical front, Jung also appeared on the third season of Chinese variety programme Ride the Waves, where she mostly sang Mandarin songs.

She also recently made a surprise appearance at the concert of Taiwanese singer Cyndi Wang, whom she met through the programme.

Tickets to Jung’s show in Singapore range from S$88 to S$268. They will go on sale tomorrow (8 Nov) via Sistic. There will also be various fan benefits available for fans who purchase the Cat 1 (S$268) tickets.

700 fans, decided through a random raffle, will get access to the pre-show soundcheck. 50 others will obtain a signed poster and another 10 will get themselves a signed polaroid by Jung.
