Currently, band members Jin and j-hope are serving their mandatory military duties.

Suga was the next member to enlist as a social service agent, an alternative form of mandatory military service. He was ruled unsuitable for combat due to his shoulder surgery back in 2020.

While processing their compulsory enlistment, the members were pushing out music as soloists.

Jungkook recently dropped his highly-anticipated solo debut album Golden (2023), fronted by the title number Standing Next To You (2023).

Meanwhile, fans can catch up with the group through a new documentary.

Titled BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star, the eight-part documentary will highlight key moments in BTS’ career, and go beneath the surface of the septet. The docuseries will arrive on Disney+ on 20 Dec.
