South Korean indie band Wave to Earth to perform in Singapore on 4 March

If you’re one who’s into the indie music scene, you would have definitely heard of South Korean indie band Wave to Earth.

The trio comprises of lead singer and guitarist Daniel Kim, bassist John Cha and drummer Shin Dongkyu. They debuted with their single, wave (2019). Subsequently, an EP of the same name was released in 2020.

Their sweet melodies are easy on the ears and capture fans’ attention. In addition, their unique colour which includes elements of nature, like sounds of wind, makes them stand out. Some of their popular songs are light (2019) and seasons (2020).

The latter recently went viral on the video-sharing social media platform TikTok, which gained them even more traction in recent months.

The band released their first album this year, 0.1 flaws and all (2023), which included two discs. It received great global recognition with bad (2023) and their iconic number peach eyes (2023), inspired by their Thai fans.

The band recently concluded their North America tour in September. And they will be embarking on their world tour soon, starting with Singapore before heading to Chiang Mai and Bangkok.

They will perform their “full scale and new concept” show for their The First Era Concert in Singapore on 4 March 2024 (Mon) at the Capitol Theatre. Tickets will go on sale on 11 Dec (Mon) at 10AM via Ticket Melon.

Tickets start from S$120, and the VIP package is available at $270.

The VIP package includes a Cat 1 ticket, access to the meet and greet session, a photograph with the band (in groups of 5), an exclusive poster signing session, a guitar pick and a concert card. Fans who purchase the package will also get priority entry into the standing area.
