The 34-year-old star is set to play a live DJ set at Marquee Singapore, the nation’s largest nightclub. Hyoyeon, or DJ Hyo as she’s referred to during her DJ gigs, has played at the nightclub once last year.
Her upcoming gig will mark the second time she’s doing a live set at Marquee. Back in 2019, Hyoyeon also performed at the Legacy Festival, held at Sentosa’s Siloso Beach.
Hyoyeon first made her debut as the main dancer of the renowned girl group Girls’ Generation. It was only in 2016 when she made her solo debut with Mystery (2016) under SM Station.
Later in 2018, she dropped a new single Sober (2018). And it was then that her agency revealed that she would also be promoting actively as a DJ in domestic club tours and EDM festivals under her new stage name.
Currently, she also promotes under the name of DJ Hyo, or simply HYO.
Tickets to her show start at S$60 for the ladies, and S$70 for the gentlemen. Fans can also get exclusive access to meet and greet with the star. The exclusive VIP meet-and-greet tickets are limited in quantity, and they cost S$150. They can be purchased here.
Previously, K-pop stars Rain and PSY have also played at the nightclub earlier this year in April. The duo dished out their classic hits like Rainism (2008) and Gangnam Style (2012) respectively, to the delight of many fans.
