The septet under JYP Entertainment’s sub-label, Studio J, also announced their Taipei and Bangkok shows not long ago.
Composed of Gunil, Jungsu, Gaon, O.de, Jun Han, and Jooyeon, the band previously performed in Seoul’s Yes24 Live Music Hall from 3 to 5 Nov last year. And they’ve just wrapped up the Europe leg of their tour.
For the Asia segment of the tour, Xdinary Heroes will make stops in Manila, Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta and Taipei. The K-pop band will stop by Jakarta and Taipei in early March before heading to Singapore. They will then tour Manila and Bangkok later that month.
Xdinary Heroes debuted in December 2021 with their single Happy Death Day (2021). Notably, it debuted at number 12 on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
The band’s name is a shortened form of Extraordinary Heroes, and they intend to convey that everyone, regardless of who it is, can become a hero.
Their latest album, Livelock (2023) marks the group’s fourth mini album, with Break the Brake (2023) as its title track.
The song demonstrates the desire to move forward and make progress without boundaries or obstacles. It uses the metaphor of slamming on brakes to convey a message of not limiting oneself because of restrictions, and learning to embrace one’s goals.
Tickets to Xdinary Heroes’ Singapore concert start at S$128, and a special Villian package is available at S$288. The Villian package will include a group photo, with 15 fans in a photo, access to the pre-show soundcheck and post-show hi-bye session.
Other benefits are also available across the different categories.
Tickets will go on sale from 2 Feb (Fri) at 12PM, via Ticketmaster.
