If you’re a fan of alternative R&B music, gear up for a musical treat. South Korean artists Dean and Tabber will be holding a live show together in Singapore for the first time on 9 Mar (Sat), at the Capitol Theatre.
Their Singapore concert marks the first stop of their Asia tour. The duo will then head to Malaysia and Thailand on 10 and 17 Mar respectively subsequently.
You might have heard of Dean, born Kwon Hyuk, who’s pretty much a household name in the Korean R&B and hip-hop arena. He gained traction following the release of his hit debut single I’m Not Sorry (2015), featuring Eric Bellinger.
His track Instagram (2017), was also equally successful commercially. Over the years, Dean has also solidified himself as one of the top musicians and producers in alternative R&B.
Rising singer-songwriter Tabber will be joining Dean for the upcoming Singapore show. The duo are both signed under you.will.knovv, a record label founded by Dean himself in 2017.
For those uninitiated, Tabber, born Kim Hyeon-jun, made his debut as a rapper through his debut mixtape Deep End Mix Tape (2020). He later participated in the tenth season of the reality programme Show Me The Money (2021), where fans got to see more of him.
Fans can purchase tickets via Ticketmaster from next Thursday (1 Feb), 12PM. They start from S$108 for Cat 3 tickets and VIP packages cost S$268. There are only 300 VIP packages up for grabs.
Decided by a raffle, fans either score a solo photo opportunity with both artists or an exclusively signed poster by both Dean and Tabber. There will be 100 and 200 fans for each benefit respectively.
Across all ticket holders, 20 lucky fans will also be selected at random for a chance to participate in an autograph session with both artists.
