You don’t need to go to live music shows to watch K-pop acts. Or hope to accidentally bump into them on the streets when you’re in South Korea.

If you went to IU’s recent H.E.R Concert in Seoul, there’s already a high chance you will bump into a celebrity.

Tickets to the 30-year-old soloist’s shows sell out like hotcakes, with many known figures in the industry in attendance as well. Here’s a look at the celebrity sightings at her show.

1. Yoo Jae-suk and Yang Se-chan

Fans saw the nation’s MC Yoo Jae-suk and comedian Yang Se-chan at IU’s concert clad in suits.

IU previously guested on the 38th episode of Pinggyego, a Korean talk show on YouTube hosted by them. There, she invited the iconic duo to her concert in Seoul.

The pair excitedly promised to wear suits to her concert, and fans were delighted to see the co-hosts deliver their promise. Comedian Park Myung-soo, who participated in the track Leon (2015) with IU, was also present.

2. Actors Lee Joon-ki, Kim Soo-hyun and Park Bo-gum

Eagle-eyed concertgoers spotted South Korean actors Lee Joon-ki, Kim Soo-hyun and Park Bo-gum at the concert.

IU is known to have a close friendship with actors she has worked with previously. Often, they would share the food support trucks sent to each of them on their social media platforms.

Lee appeared in the hit heart-wrenching period drama Moon Lovers Scarlett Heart Ryeo (2016) with IU while Kim Soo-hyun and IU both starred in the youth drama Dream High (2011).

Park, on the other hand, was a special guest on the last night of IU’s H.E.R concert in Seoul. He sang Let’s Go See the Stars (2017) originally by Jukjae and did a duet with IU.

The singer-actress will be cast as the main lead in the upcoming drama When Life Gives You Tangerines with Park, and the drama is slated to air on Netflix.
