Hanni of NewJeans is the newest global brand ambassador for Gucci Beauty

Hanni of NewJeans is the newest face of Gucci Beauty, per an announcement made yesterday (1 Apr).

The 19-year-old singer is currently also the Global Brand Ambassador for Gucci. “Hanni’s collaboration with the House now extends to Gucci Beauty, marking an exciting new chapter in [the] partnership,” a media release stated.

The brand also released a few portraits of Hanni together with the announcement.

In one of the images, Hanni wears a white tank top with the word “Gucci” embroidered on the shoulder. She also wears the Rouge à Lèvres Mat lipstick in the shade “They Met in Argentina”.

The other photo showed Hanni donning the brand’s signature Ancora red together with a matching lipstick shade. However, the lipstick shade has yet to be released.

On her new appointment, Gucci Beauty said: “[Hanni’s] magnetic charisma, self-confidence, and genuine authenticity perfectly embody Gucci Beauty’s core values”.

That is also seen in her musical work with NewJeans.

The K-pop quintet rose to stardom since their debut in 2022 with hit tracks that resonated amongst the teenage crowd. This includes Super Shy (2023), Ditto (2022) and more.

NewJeans also recently dropped by Singapore in February for a surprise performance to celebrate the opening of an athletic brand’s flagship store at the heart of Orchard Road.

And there is no doubt that the girls have a huge following here in Singapore.

Separately on the fashion front, Hanni was previously spotted at various Gucci events, like the recent FW24 show held in Milan. She is also a familiar face in the brand’s fashion campaigns, like the Gucci Horsebit campaign which dropped last March.
