Cha Eun-woo is about to hold his first-ever show in Singapore this Saturday.

Titled Just One 10 Minute [Mystery Elevator], he will be holding the show at the Star Theatre on 13 Apr (Sat) at 7PM. The K-pop idol’s key goal here is to make you show fans everything about himself in 10 minutes and make them fall in love with him in that time frame, or shorter.

We don’t think that’s a challenge at all.

Ahead of his show, here are five things about Cha Eun-woo, and his tour that you should know.

1. The story behind Just One 10 Minute

Undoubtedly, 10 Minutes (2003) is a well-known song title by the iconic K-pop singer Lee Hyo-ri. But did you know the title of Cha Eun-woo’s tour, Just One 10 Minute, is inspired by the V Live broadcasts he consistently engaged with his fans with since his debut?

During the earlier days, K-pop idols, including the members of Astro, frequently used the V Live platform for live broadcasts to interact with fans.

One day, Cha spontaneously initiated a V Live broadcast titled Just One 10 Minute, intending to keep it concise with a 10-minute duration. Since then, he has consistently stuck with this title for his broadcasts.

2. Most followed Korean actor on Instagram

Cha currently holds the title of the most followed Korean actor on Instagram.

With a staggering 44 million followers on the social media platform, he clinches the top spot, even though he is the youngest among his actor peers on the list. Cha’s meteoric rise to fame stems from his association with his boy group, Astro together with his diverse talents in hosting, music, and acting, which have garnered him a dedicated fan base.

He is also currently fronting various luxury brands, which propelled his popularity further with his crossover to fashion and lifestyle.

3. Who is Felix?

Well, Felix is actually Cha’s English name, for those who are unaware. On an episode of Master In The House (2017-2023), Eunwoo revealed that his English name is Felix and it was initially given to him by his English teacher.

When it comes to language, Cha also speaks fluent English. He previously mentioned he became fluent in the language when he went to study in the Philippines. Best guess that we’ll be able to hear him use the language during his Singapore visit.

4. Cha Dum-chit

Does Cha Dum-chit sound like gibberish? Well, it’s Cha’s nickname, given by his fellow bandmate Moonbin after he messed up a particular dance routine.

Then, Moonbin thought his moves looked more like du-dum-chit, a Korean term which relates to dance and the sound of a drum. Twist it with his surname and his nickname is now Cha Dum-chit.

This nickname stuck with the fans, as well as his bandmates. Recently, during Cha’s birthday in March, bandmate Sanha also referred to him as Cha Dum-chit in his birthday tweet for him.

5. An undoubted all-rounder

Cha is undoubtedly a versatile talent who excels in singing, dancing, hosting, and acting. He also has a flair for penning lyrics and composing music.

In his group, Cha has contributed as a lyricist to several Astro tracks such as You & Me (2017) and After Midnight (2021), among others. He also composed Don’t Worry (2022) in the band’s eighth mini album Switch On.

For his solo work, Cha also participated in lyrics-writing for all six tracks on his latest solo debut album Entity (2024).
