JUST IN: WATERBOMB Singapore will bring in BamBam, Sandara Park, VIVIZ and more for its inaugural Singapore edition.

The summer festival will be held from 24 to 25 Aug (Sat-Sun), at Sentosa’s Siloso Beach, with a star-studded lineup, no less.

Originating from Seoul, the festival will also include stops in Japan, Xiamen, Dubai, Ho Chi Minh, and more this year. Singapore happens to be one of the overseas stops.

Festival organisers announced the first wave of line-up via a public press conference held at Suntec City today (6 May), with the presence of veteran idol Sandara Park.

Park, who performed at the press conference, will also be part of the festival.

Amongst the lineup are BamBam, BIBI, Kwon Eunbi, Sorn, VIVIZ, Kid Milli and viral dance crew Team BEBE. Local talents such as lullaboy, Alyph and Haven will also take the stage alongside them.

If your favourite artiste is not in the line-up, fret not. Organisers will be announcing a second wave of acts soon.

On the festival, David Yong, CEO of Evergreen Group Holdings, co-organiser of the festival said: “We are extremely proud to be bringing in the largest K-pop festivals to our shores”.

And this is only the “beginning of a range of K-pop festivals and K-content activities” the company will be bringing in the future, he teased.

Standard tickets will go on sale this Friday (10 May) via KKday. Tickets start from $198 for a one-day pass, and $338 for a 2-day pass.
