JUST IN: South Korean rapper Loco is the latest addition to the line-up for WATERBOMB Singapore. The two-day waterbomb festival will be held at Sentosa’s Siloso Beach, from 24 to 25 Aug (Sat-Sun).

The line-up for the water festival was previously announced via a public press conference held at Suntec City. Last week, festival organisers revealed that CL, born Lee Chae-rin, will also join the line-up.

Just like CL, Loco will be performing on the second day of the festival, on 25 Aug (Sun).

Known for his melodic rap verses and flow, Loco was crowned the winner of the first season of Show Me The Money (2012). He later made another appearance on the programme as a producer in its fourth instalment.

And chances are that you’d have heard his hits before. He teamed up with Hwasa for Don’t (2018), and Punch for the OST we all know too well, Say Yes (2016).

With his success, Loco continues to push fresh and innovative music. His latest music drop came last October with his second full album, WEAK (2023).

Fans of Loco can also probably expect to hear him perform some of these new hits live during WATERBOMB.

The best part of it all? Loco is no stranger to the festival. He played six out of eight WATERBOMB shows domestically in South Korea, in cities like Seoul and Incheon last year.

According to the official WATERBOMB website, there are four more acts to be announced, and possibly more. Fans can look forward to the reveal of more performing artists soon.

Tickets to WATERBOMB Singapore are now on sale. They start from $198 for a one-day pass and $338 for a 2-day pass. Purchase them via KKDay now.
