Season 2 of Jinny’s Kitchen returns with Lee Seo-jin, Park Seo-jun and more

Jinny's Kitchen stars several K-actors, who will attempt to run a Korean restaurant overseas, this time in Reykjavík, Iceland.

Hit Korean programme Jinny’s Kitchen will return for a second run. Its second season premieres exclusively on Prime Video end of this month, starting on 28 Jun.

The unscripted series stars several K-actors, who will attempt to run a Korean restaurant overseas. This season, set in Reykjavík, Iceland, will bring back cast members like Lee Seo-Jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-jun, and Choi Woo-shik. They will also be joined by actress Ko Min-si.

In the first season, these actors ran a Korean street food joint in Balacar, Mexico. V of BTS also starred in the show, helping out with the restaurant operations as an intern.

According to a press release, this season “promises entertaining dynamics, new roles, fresh menus, and the breathtaking Icelandic scenery”.

Viewers can not only enjoy the majestic scenery of Reykjavík and learn more about the city, but they can also humour themselves with the chemistry between the cast members.

A feel-good variety programme in nature, the series will document their adventures setting up shop in a new location in a light-hearted manner.

For fans who don’t already know, the store was named after the store’s “boss”, Lee Seo-jin. The rest of the cast members then help out in various other aspects of the restaurant.

In the first season, actor Park Seo-jun took on the role of the restaurant’s General Manager. Jung Yu-mi, on the other hand, assumed the role of the restaurant’s director.

With a slight change in cast and a new location, fans can expect a refreshing watch. Jinny’s Kitchen will go on air every Friday, exclusively on Prime Video.
