Halloween Horror Nights this year may have just got a tad bit scarier.

In a recent announcement, Universal Studios Singapore announced that they “will amp up the scare factor once again – this time with Netflix’s global hit Sweet Home (2020)”.

This collaboration marks their third partnership with global streaming giant Netflix. Last year, the theme park teamed up with Netflix for a haunted house inspired by the original series All of Us Are Dead (2022).

The HallyuSG team has gone behind the scenes to get the low-down of what went behind the making of the house. Our correspondents also had a go at the haunted house, but needless to say, we yielded to the scare factor.

We’re betting that this year is no different. According to a press statement, the Sweet Home-themed haunted house will “be based on some of its most spine-chilling scenes and grotesque monsters” from both seasons.

The house will also retrace the steps of characters through key locations. This includes the Green Home apartment complex, like Cha Hyun-su’s apartment and the basement.

“Sweet Home transports viewers into a realm ruled by mayhem and this haunted house will allow fans to experience it first hand,” Greg Lombardo, Head of Experiences at Netflix said.

In other news, the series will soon make its final return with its third season on 19 July.

Halloween Horror Nights 12 will span 18 event nights on select dates from 27 Sep to 2 Nov. Tickets will go on sale on 13 Aug here.
