What's New

With more than 200k fans in the virtual queue for tickets, the ladies of 2NE1 have added another show in Singapore.
The second show will take place on 22 Dec (Sun), one day after their originally scheduled show here. The concert will be at the same venue: the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Tickets to the first show first went on sale last week. However, many Blackjacks (as fans of 2NE1 are affectionately named) did not seem to emerge victorious in the ticketing war. After all, more than 200,000 fans were vying for tickets.

For context, the maximum capacity of the Singapore Indoor Stadium is around 12,000. However, for most shows, considering the stage layout and various seating arrangements, the capacity ranges from 7,000 to about 9,000.
That would mean that a fan in the virtual queue merely had a 5 per cent chance of getting tickets.
This is a common occurrence for all their stops. Since their recently-concluded Seoul stops, tickets to 2NE1’s Japan and Manila concerts have all been wiped out the moment they were on sale.
It’s not surprising though, considering that the quartet is making their legendary return. The group has got all it takes to put up an extravaganza: vocal chops, spontaneity, and of course, the stage presence.
Following their individual promotions and activities, the quartet is coming back together again, as one, for fans to relive the heyday of K-pop.
The girl group, who made their debut in 2009, dropped tracks like Fire (2009), Come Back Home (2014), I Am The Best (2011) and more. Spoiler alert: they have included all these songs in their upcoming setlist, by the way.
If you want to catch their second show, tickets go on sale tomorrow (15 Oct), at 12PM via Ticketmaster.
