South Korean fast food chain Lotteria to open first outlet in Singapore

If your trip to Korea is never complete without a Lotteria meal, here’s some good news.

The South Korean fast food chain will soon open its first Singapore outlet. According to The Straits Times, that will happen sometime in the second quarter of 2025. However, no specific date and location for the store has been revealed yet.

Food and beverage consultant Katrina Group will be the one to introduce the brand locally. The Catalist-listed company also plans to open multiple outlets in time to come.

Lotteria was first launched in 1979. Currently, the brand has more than 1,600 stores across seven countries. They include Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and more. In Korea, locals often frequent the joint for a quick, easy yet localised meal.

“Lotteria [has] a massive popularity in South Korea,” said Katrina Group’s chief executive and founder Mr Alan Goh. “We are confident that Lotteria will resonate with Singaporeans and further enhance our F&B portfolio,” he added.

Currently, Lotteria offers various menu items, including more unique ones like baked potatoes, salads, cheese sticks, squid rings, and a popular shaved iced dessert pat bing soo. It is not known as of yet, whether the brand will tweak some of the menu items to accommodate the local crowd.

Some of the other brands under Katrina Group include Bali Thai, Daily Chicken, Streats and the new Korean dining concept Daily Beer, which boasts a variety of novel Korean draft beers.
