Korean fried chicken chain Daily Beer opens second outlet at CHIJMES

South Korean popular fried chicken chain Daily Beer recently opened its second outlet at CHIJMES.

This comes only a few months after the chain established its first Singapore outlet at Telok Ayer. With over 370 outlets in South Korea, Singapore is currently the only country outside Korea with Daily Beer outlets.

While the new outlet is slightly smaller than its Telok Ayer counterpart, both outlets are pretty similar in terms of dining atmosphere, featuring a retro-industrial concept.

In particular, the CHIJMES outlet “offers a different, more laidback experience for the lifestyle enthusiast,” according to a press release.

The iconic venue also features stunning courtyards and intimate alfresco dining areas, perfect to indulge in fried chicken, and exclusive craft beers.

On beers, the brand is also introducing its two latest Singapore-exclusive creations at its new outlet.

They are the dry-hopped sour ale Gijang Sour Weiss, and the Modern IPA, which offers more intense tropical notes. Both of these creations are available at S$15++.

Of course, patrons can continue to revel in the brand’s signature offerings — fried chicken. You can choose from four flavours: the Original Angry Bird, Angry Bird Red, Angry Bird Black and Angry Bird Crunch.

They retail at $34++ for 16 whole pieces, 600g of boneless chicken at $31++, or 600g of wings at $30++.

Other side dishes to go along include Daily Buddae Tteokbokki ($30++), as well as the crispy Original French Fries ($16++).

For something lighter, patrons can also opt for the Cajun Chicken Salad ($26++) with a refreshing mix of greens, crunchy fried chicken, and creamy dressing.

Daily Beer at CHIJMES open from 11:30 AM – 11:00 PM from Sundays to Thursdays, and 11:30 AM – 12:30 AM on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays.
