Congratulations are in order for Girls’ Generation’s Yoona. Born Im Yoon-ah, the 34-year-old K-pop star has just been announced as the latest brand ambassador for Valentino.
This news, however, doesn’t come as a big surprise.
She previously graced the Maison’s Pavillon des Folies Spring/Summer 2025 fashion show held back in September, in the heart of Paris.

Then, “the elegance and beauty embedded in every aspect of Valentino’s designs, as well as the distinctive fusion of modern sensibilities” profoundly captivated her.
A few months later, she is now officially the brand’s latest ambassador.
On her new appointment, she said: “I am incredibly delighted and grateful to be appointed as an official ambassador for Maison Valentino”.

“Beyond mere beauty, I am deeply inspired by the traditional aesthetics that Valentino has cultivated over decades,” she added.
With her new role, the veteran singer said she is excited for what’s to come. In an official release, the Maison also stated that it is looking forward to having her at future events.
Beyond music, YoonA has also dabbled in acting, participating in productions on both small and big screens. For a start, she starred in the well-loved K-series King the Land (2023) alongside Lee Jun-ho where she played a hardworking and optimistic hotel employee named Sa-rang.
